Good Morning Team –

What do y’all think about this opportunity to participate in this wonderful community event and promote Scouting into the community?

We would need to staff and cover the Three Separate dates, and I’m thinking across the three districts we should be able to put together appropriate coverage.

Thoughts?

LMK

Thanks

RT

Northside Posadas: Vendor Registrations and Sponsorships Available!

The holiday season is here, and we’re thrilled to invite you to Northside Posadas—a festive celebration happening on December 7th, 14th, and 21st from 4 PM to 8 PM!

This year’s Inaugural Posadas will feature live performances, photos with Santa at Mercado Plaza, festive decorations by the Latino Arts Project, and a bustling Mercado Navideño organized by Cultura Markets, offering unique holiday gifts, crafts, and seasonal treats, and an opportunity to give back to the community through a toy drive and pantry drive for Northside Inter-Community Agency (NICA).

·    Vendor Registrations: Spaces are available for vendors to participate in Mercado Navideño. This is a fantastic way to connect with community members and visitors alike.

·    Sponsorship Opportunities: Sponsorships start at $500, which includes vending and exhibition opportunities on all three dates, providing valuable exposure while supporting this special event.

·    Business Participation: We invite district businesses to join in by hosting workshops, offering holiday specials, or decorating storefronts to bring more holiday cheer to the community.

The festivities will culminate in a Tamale and Atole Festival at Magdalena’s on December 21st, featuring some of Fort Worth's beloved Latino celebrity chefs. For vendor registration, sponsorship inquiries, or if you are a business in Historic Northside that would like to participate, please click on the link above or reach out to Dee Lara O'Neal, Main Street Project Manager today.

Invitation to the Northside Connect

Our first-ever Northside Connect meeting will be held on Monday, November 18th, at noon at Northside Inter-Community Agency (NICA), hosted by Catherine Hollis, Executive Director of NICA with lunch provided by Frost Bank.

Organized in partnership with the Historic Northside District, this gathering is a valuable opportunity to connect with fellow community-based groups, discuss upcoming initiatives, and explore collaborative approaches to neighborhood needs.

If you’re a nonprofit, public agency, or community-based group working in Northside, we’d love to see you there as we strengthen our network together.

Please RSVP to dee.laraoneal@fwhcc.org to attend.
