Subject: Unit & Membership Renewal

District Commissioners,

Do the Unit Key 3 Leaders understand that unit renewal is a separate process from membership renewal? Please ask your Committee Chairs to login, complete the five steps, and pay the required $100. Please ask your Unit Commissioners to reach out to leaders and help leaders renew their units. Forward the attached Unit Renewal Guide to all Key 3 Leaders.

 

Renewal Status:

  • 367 units have not started their renewal
  • 25 units in process (10 initiated and 15 payments submitted)
  • 8 units have posted
  • 11-13-24 Renewal Status Report attached

 

New Commissioners:

If you are new to this process, it’s all about the communication. The renewal process is not hard, it’s just different. Unit and membership renewal cannot be done with one conversation during roundtable or a sidebar conversation during a meeting. If you support 40-units, I highly suggest that you make 40 phone calls to the Committee Chairs. Have a chat about the renewal process. Ask each leader to engage in the process. If the leader has questions that you cannot answer, forward the question to Hector Reyes or myself. Renewal Updates:

  • The new member online application process for users on a phone or tablet has been enhanced. It now has a much better flow for the user.
  • The Members Who Have Renewed report has been fixed. It now accurately shows everyone that has renewed regardless of who registered online or through Registrar Tools at the council.
  • The roster now shows the Registration Status with a tool tip that explains each status.

  • January 23rd at 7:00pm (Zoom)
