[Lone Star Commissioners] District Committee Meeting Minutes

Meeting called to order at 7PM. Present at meeting: Fred Fleury, District Vice Chair / Membership Chair Duane Mann, Training Chair Ted Eadie, Advancement Chair Ryan Thompson, Field Director Tom Kisner, District Commissioner Membership report- actively planning for fall recruiting Advancement report-3rd Thursday for Eagle Board of review, have one candidate right now Guide to Advancement now states (and Longhorn Council will require) Scoutbook for advancement or Internet Advancement 2.0 in order to purchase any ranks or Merit Badges Finance report- Currently at 72% of goal IC(FOS). Training report- Camp Holland IOLS/BALOO training in September, new YPT policy/requirements coming, currently at 54% trained direct contact leaders Commissioner report - Roundtable is next week and Ice Cream Social and membership recruiting training. Planning on having a recycled raingutter regatta. There will be no hybrid/Zoom meeting, and no breakouts this month.
