[Lone Star District] 50 Miler 2024

We wanted to pass along info on the Paul Kempf hikes this for other units in the district. This will be its 59th year. It was started with the Kennedy fitness challenge that was inspired by Teddy Roosevelt requiring Marine lieutenants and captains to march 50 miles in less than 20 hours (Luckily we don't have the 20 hour limit). Troop 3 has been doing it for the last 7 years, I won't lie the first evening of the 50 miler is rough, but we've had a number of Scouts complete it at least 4 years in a row.
