District Calendar for 2023-2024

All units should be planning their unit calendar for 2023-2024. For Cub Scout Packs, this is essential tool for membership and keeping the program on track. For Troops, it's an important Scout leadership development activity for the Patrol Leader Council.

Last Saturday, District Chair Kevin McKinney lead the development of the Lone Star District Calendar for 2023-2024. We hope you find it helpful in developing your unit calendars and hope to see you at Lone Star District events next year!

Fall Family Fest (Cub Scouts) - September 30^th2023 10AM-2PM, Willow Creek Park Saginaw

Pinewood Derby Clinic (Cub Scouts) - January 14th 2024, Location TBD

Merit Badge College (Scouts BSA) - 2^nd and 4^th Saturday in February 2024, Tarrant County College NW

District Pinewood Derby Race (Cub Scouts) - March 23^rd 2024 Location TBD

District Camporee (Scouts BSA) - April 12th-14th, Aurora Texas

Day Camp (Cub Scouts) - June 7^th - 9^th , Azle Shady Grove Park (tentative)

Friendly reminder for this Thursday July 27th…. The Lonestar District will be having their First Fall Membership Training on Thursday July 27th from 6:30pm – 8:00pm via Zoom . This will be held by our District Membership Chair, Fred Fleury and District Executive Jose Valadez.
