Our District Cub Camp for our Cub Scouts this year will be at Veterans Park in White Settlement, Tx (8901 Clifford St, White Settlement, Tx) on Friday June 9th and Saturday June 10th. I will be attaching the times down below of each day. On Saturday June 10th, I was able to reserve Splash Dayz Waterpark from 2pm – 8pm. Splash Dayz is directly adjacent to Veterans Park.
Friday June 9th, 2023 8:30am – 4:30pm: Day of Program
Saturday June 10th, 2023 2pm – 8pm: Day at Splash Dayz Waterpark
The cost is now $85 per youth and $10 for Adult Chaperone/Adult Staff.
If you have already reached out to you, regarding your payment, please try your best to pay it before June 2nd, as registration closes that evening.

Good Morning Everyone!
I am attaching the Day Camp Flyers for you to share with your packs! There are two flyers, one with a few questions about what day camp is and what we have to offer for it. The second one is our main flyer, that has the date, times, and location, as well as a QR code to register for Day Camp. (both have the URLs as well). The parents/ unit leaders will have to scroll down, and they will see “Lonestar/Woodbine”, with ‘Friday 6/9/2023 – 6/11/2023’. Day Camp is also for Non-Registered scouts / families as well. This is a great recruitment tool for packs for non-registered scouts as well! Please, please share this with everyone in our District!
Please let me know if you have any questions, I am also getting information as it comes every week, so please me patient with me on Day Camp.

Welcome to Scouting Booklet: I am attaching a Digital Copy of our "Welcome New Cub Scout Families" Information Guide, that is a GREAT resource for new families and goes over the basics of How Cub Scouting Works ,Pack Meetings, Training, and of course the cost of cub scouting. I do have hard copies, please let me know if you would like some, as well as yard signs or buddy cards for some 'passive recruitment' in your pack or den.
Scout Mobile App: The Scout Mobile app is a great tool for parents themselves to track their own youths rank advancements. The app can pull existing advancement straight from scout book!

Cubs Can Crush it, Mush it & Burn it! : The LHC STEM Committee is presenting a Half Day (2 hour) STEM Experience at the LHC Service Center in Hurst on Saturday March 25th. 2 Sessions: 9am-11am or 1pm-3pm. (Flyer Attached)
