Good Evening Lonestar District Unit Leaders! If you have not had the chance to meet me, my name is Jose Valadez, I am your local District Executive for the Lonestar District at the Longhorn Council. I am here to support you in any way possible and want to be a resource of any kind to help you and your pack or den be the best it can be! Welcome to Scouting Booklet: I am attaching a Digital Copy of our "Welcome New Cub Scout Families" Information Guide, that is a GREAT resource for new families and goes over the basics of How Cub Scouting Works ,Pack Meetings, Training, and of course the cost of cub scouting. I do have hard copies, please let me know if you would like some, as well as yard signs or buddy cards for some 'passive recruitment' in your pack or den. Scout Mobile App: The Scout Mobile app is a great tool for parents themselves to track their own youths rank advancements. The app can pull existing advancement straight from scout book! Scouting Mobile App!<https://help.scoutbook.scouting.org/knowledge-base/scouting-mobile-… Cubs Can Crush it, Mush it & Burn it! : The LHC STEM Committee is presenting a Half Day (2 hour) STEM Experience at the LHC Service Center in Hurst on Saturday March 25th. 2 Sessions: 9am-11am or 1pm-3pm. (Flyer Attached) Cub Scout Rangemaster Trainings 2023: You are invited for Days of Training for Cub Scout BB, Archery! The certification is good for 2 years with classes approximately 3 hours each.
