Good Evening Scouters and Scouts,
This year’s event will be at ABC Black Powder Campgrounds in Aurora , TX
We are going to have a good time working on the Pioneering Merit Badge and Cooking.

There will be Troop recognition for the best, (or quickest) of the Pioneering/Cooking activities.
We will be naming the Judges later.
Below this, find a link for Troops to sign up for Camporee tasks (need them all filled in) on a first come, first served basis:

Charlie, et al,
I wasn’t sure about your access to district-wide communication yet, but I wanted to ensure that word got out to District Pack and Troop leaders about a guest speaker at this Thursday's roundtable. Mr. Brent Forester and other members of the City of River Oaks Filter Plant and Storm Water Task Force will be on hand to give leaders his presentation on stormwater issues and water preservation. Mr. Forester and his team are available to Troops and Pack to discuss the environmental impact and preventions that can be done to keep our drinking water safe and clean (Thinking about ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE, FISH AND WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT, FORESTRY, SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION, SUSTAINABILITY MBs as well as for Pack or Den demonstrations). They have a cool model that they use to demonstrate the issues they will have on display. They would be an excellent resource for our district units so I wanted to make sure unit leaders were aware in time to plan to attend, especially if they usually were not regular RT attendees.
