Commissioners-
I have to work tomorrow at 8PM, so I won't be able to have a separate Commissioner meeting and (and won't be able to attend District Committee Meeting in person, I have a hard stop and have to be ready to work at 8).
Main things-
1. Please document unit contacts, and do a Detailed Assessment for each unit as soon as possible.
2. Encourage Troops to attend camporee, and try to visit them at Camporee.
3. Encourage everyone to come to District Awards next week and try to visit with them there. I have almost no award nominations, so I could use help this year encouraging that.
Let me know if you need anything, I will try to help or point you in the right direction.

YIS,

It's a good reminder, encourage your units to go to camporee and visit them there.
YIS,
Tom

Subject: Unit visits
Good morning Commissioners!
As Dave has reminded us before, camporees are perfect for unit visits. Please make every effort to remind the UCs and ADCs of this and encourage them to attend/visit their district’s camporees in the next few weeks. This weekend Arrowhead, Leon Valley, Trinity Trails, Brazos Valley and Santa Fe districts are having their camporees. Visits for those districts are expected to increase. Also, Orion has their Merit Badge College. Another prime opportunity for visits with the leaders.
We are off to a good start and we want to continue strong throughout the year. I’m looking forward to our increase in visits.

Thanks to everyone for all they do for Scouting, all of your efforts at reaching out and helping units had a huge impact to preserve and grow the Scouting movement in our area.
Our next meeting is next Thursday February 2nd at 8PM following the District Committee Meeting - both will be in person at Azle First Assembly. Several things on the agenda including Commissioner assignments for 2023.
